Bijnor (UP), February 23: A mentally unstable youth allegedly killed his mother by hitting her with a brick at Sahanpur village here, police said today.
Following a tiff with his mother Basanti Devi (65), Pradeep Singh in a fit of rage gave several blows on Devi”s head with the brick yesterday.
Devi died on the spot. The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered against him, inspector-incharge of Najibabad police station D P Singh said.
