MAHARASHTRA: A 23-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her live-in partner after he hit her on the head with a cooking gas cylinder on Sunday, the police said.
The victim was a resident of Dombivli in Thane district of Maharashtra. According to the police, the accused had doubts that his girlfriend was cheating on him.
A police official said that In a fit of rage, the accused has hit the woman’s head with an LPG cylinder at their residence in Golavli village following which he fled from the spot.
After the neighbours informed the police, the victim was rushed to the hospital. The accused, whose identity is not revealed by the police is on the run.
