According to Neredmet police, the deceased Selva Raj (40) an painter S/o Arlin Resident of Sainagar of Sainikpuri was killed allegedly with blunt object on his head by his brother Harry Peter (35) an welder at Neredmet on Wednesday night due to which he received multiple injuries, immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared brought dead. The victim stayed along with his mother and brother in a double storied building at Sainikpuri. There were some differences between the brothers over the monthly pension received by their mother.
Neredmet police registered a case of murder under section 302 IPC and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives and began investigations. Inspector N Chandra Babu said. (INN)
