Lockport, July 26: A Lockport man has been sentenced to 17 years behind bars and 10 years of supervised release for having around two million images of child pornography in his home and on his computer.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says 37-year-old Robert Terhaar was sentenced on Monday. Some of the child pornography depicted force and violence, and some images were even of newborn babies. Federal agents say Terhaar admitted he fantasizes about young boys and was concerned about his ability to control his sexual urges. Terhaar distributed the images online through various programs.
