Banda:Police have arrested the neighbour of a 11-year-old girl for allegedly raping her in Chilla police station area here.
Station Officer of Chilla, Ramkewal Patel, said, “The incident took place on Friday, and the accused was arrested yesterday.”
Police also said that the accused threatened the girl of dire consequences if she revealed the incident.
The police lodged a case following a complaint by the girl’s father. The Station Officer also said the medical examination confirmed she had been raped.
