Fearing conviction, a man, who was charged with murder of his wife in 2001, committed suicide here on Tuesday.
Deceased Srinivas Yadav was charged with murder of his wife in 2001. He was working as a watchman in the house of an advocate in Chiragali Lane here. The High Court was scheduled to deliver its verdict on trial court’s sentence on Tuesday.
Fearing that the High Court might uphold the judgment of the trial court, Srinivas Yadav hanged himself to death from a ceiling fan in his advocate’s office. (NSS)
