Barabanki (UP), June 03: A man allegedly hacked to death his wife”s paramour and later surrendered before the police in Jahagirabad area, officials said here today.
Om Prakash hacked Shivram Bhaskar in two pieces with a sharp-edged weapon after he found the latter in a compromising position with his wife in Kamrakha village yesterday, they said.
Later, Prakash surrendered himself before the police and also gave them the murder weapon. Police said that Shivram was having an illicit relationship with Om Prakash”s wife.
A case has been lodged on a complaint filed by Shivram”s wife Umapati, Additional Superintendent of Police Shriparna Ganguli said.
