New Delhi, March 18: A Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (MACT) has awarded a compensation of Rs 6.07 lakh to man who became unable to produce a child due to injuries in his private parts after being hit by a speeding vehicle in a road accident.
“The trauma of having the feeling even before being married that he will be unable to produce a child is of that magnitude that it will be unimaginable as to what he would be undergoing even at the mere thought of it. It is loss of dream of having one’s own child which no amount of money how so ever high can compensate,” Presiding Officer Swarana K Sharma said.
