Kozhikode, October 14: A local court here today sentenced a man to life imprisonment for harassing and killing a minor girl last year.
Second sessions court judge Thomas Kurian also imposed a fine of Rs six lakh on 46-year-old Mayinkutty.
The court found him guilty of luring a fourth standard girl to his house at Cherandathur near Vadakara and raping and murdering her on June 23, 2008.
The girl’s body was recovered from his house
