A court in western China has sentenced a man to death for organising a terrorist attack in February that left 16 people dead.
Abdukerem Mamut was convicted of organising and leading a terrorist group, and committing murder, Xinhua reported.
The attack took place Feb 28 in Yecheng county of Kashgar. Mamut has confessed to the crime. He was arrested at the scene, while eight other terrorists were shot dead.
