Bundi: A 32 year old man was today found with around 100 per cent burn injuries lying on the roadside with his car parked near a private engineering college in Bundi district.
The man who later succumbed to the burn injuries in the hospital in Kota.
Police have lodged a case of murder against unidentified accused with the investigation going on.
Sandeep Sindhi (32), a resident of Bajranjnagar area of Kota city was found with around 100 per cent burn injuries on the roadside near a private engineering college on Dabi road with his car parked nearby, told Bhagwati Prashad, Station House Officer (SHO), Talerapolice station.
The injured was rushed to hospital in Kota where he succumbed to the burn injuries during the treatment, he said adding bottles of beer, of water and mobiles were also recovered from the car.
The man is supposed to have been burnt and thrown on roadside, the SHO said.
Police suspects it a case of murder, however, statement of the deceased before death could not be recorded, the SHO said adding the deceased could hardly utter his name and that he was not looted.
A case under section 302 of IPC was lodged against the unidentified accused in this connection and further investigation into the matter is going on, SHO Bhagwati Prashad said adding the body was handed over to the family members after postmortem.
The deceased Sandeep Sindhi ran a biscuits agency and and would deliver supply from village to village, the SHO said adding the family members of the deceased are now not in the condition to tell about his rivalry or past enmity
