Kurukshetra: A 30-year-old man was found hanging in a bathroom of a hotel in the Pipli Road area here, the police said today.
Kuldeep Kumar, resident of Kharkonda village in Kaithal district, was found hanging from a steel hanger in the bathroom last night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Singh said.
He said Kumar, who was working in a children hospital in Sector 7 here, had checked into the hotel on July 20 at about 1 PM.
The incident came to light when the hotel staff had to broke open the door after their was no response from Kumar when they knocked at the door of his room, Singh said.
Police reached the spot and the body was sent for post mortem, he said, adding Kumar’s family members have been informed about the incident.
It appears a case of suicide but investigation is on to ascertain why he did take such a step, the DSP said.
