New Delhi: A 28-year-old man, who worked as an assistant in a Mother Dairy booth, was found dead in New Delhi’s Tilak Marg area today.
The deceased was identified as Rakesh, hailing from Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.
Police suspected that he was electrocuted. It will be clear once the autopsy report is received, a police officer said.
“Rakesh must have opened the freezer in the booth oblivious of the fact that current was running through it and collapsed immediately. Since it was late in the night, no one had been around to help him,” the officer said.
Rakesh was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. There were no external injury marks on his body, police said.
