In a bizarre incident, one Shaik Ayub Ali hanged to death his two sons before ending his life in similar fashion at Pochamma Basti in Bagh Amberpet here on Monday. The incident benumbed the residents of the locality.
Sheikh Ayub Ali with his wife and two sons was living in the Pochamma Basti in a rented house since a year. Ali’s wife deserted him some six months ago. He was living with his two sons.
Ali reported got upset and mentally sick when his wife started pestering him to give her children to her. A depressed Ali chose to hang his two sons aged 10 and 12 to a ceiling fan and committed suicide by hanging himself. (NSS)
