Bangalore, February 16: One person who arrived from Riyadh was arrested at Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) here today for carrying fake passport, police sources said. “The accused, identified as Abdul Aziz (27), a native of Uttar Pradesh, arrived at the BIA by a Saudhi Arbian Airlines flight at 11.15 am,” sources told.
He was intercepted at immigration counter as his passport was found in a tampered condition.
During interrogation Aziz revealed that he was carrying fake passport in the name of Mohammad Jaid, which was given to him by an agent in Riyadh, the sources said.
