Dejected over divorce demand by wife following a row, the man committed suicide. The couple got married on 9th January 2014. According to Ghatkesar police 37-year-old Fazlur Rahman consumed unknown poison mixed in cool drink. Fazlur Rahman was the son of Noor Baig R/O Jedimetla and was a driver by occupation. The couple had quarrels over minor issues since few days after marriage.
Fazlur Rahman’s wife Shamshad Begum went to her natal house, Fazlur Rahman too started staying at his in-laws house but quarrels between them didn’t stop. As the strife continued the wife demanded divorce. Distraught over this Fazlur Rahman took the extreme step and consumed poison. He died late night. Police has registered a case and investigations are underway.
