Phagwara : A man has been booked for allegedly kidnapping a 16-year-old girl here, police said today.
Rajiv Kumar, a resident of Nasirabad village, has been booked on the complaint of the girl’s father, they said.
The complainant alleged that the man took away his daughter on the pretext of marrying her, police said.
A search has been launched for the accused and the girl, they added.
