Jaipur: Unnatural and immoral sex offences between humans and animals are on the rise after the recent pregnant goat gangrape was reported.
A man in Jaipur was arrested after the police registered an FIR against him for allegedly having unnatural sex with a female stray dog, HT report stated.
According to initial reports, Sachin Stalin , animal rights activist of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India filed a complaint against the offender on August 20 at Bhankrota Police Station.
He was later sent to judicial custody under section 151 of criminal procedure code.
The Police said once the medical examination is done on female stray dog the offender’s crime will be proved and action will be taken against him.
In a statement, PETA India warned if the offender is released, he could abuse humans too in future.
“Violent people often start by abusing animals and then move on to targeting human victims. Therefore, this case should worry everyone,” said Meet Ashar of PETA India.
