Hyderabad, August 28: A 40-year-old woman died on the spot after she was brutally beaten up her husband. The incident occurred in Christian Colony in the limits of Ghatkesar Police Station late on Friday night.
According to Ghatkesar inspector TH Srikanth, the deceased A Sharada had a quarrel with her husband Sattaiah, a private employee, over the financial problems that the family was facing for the last few months. Out of rage, Sattaiah hit Sharada with as wooden rod on the head and left the house. Sharada’s head injury led to profuse bleeding and she fell unconscious instantaneously. About an hour later her son Gopi reached the house and found his mother lying in a pool of blood. He immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital where she declared dead on arrival.
Ghatkesar police registered a case of murder against Sattaiah, who is still absconding. Sharada’s body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
