Man beats lover’s child to death in Britain

A five-year-old in Britain died after his mother left the little boy with her violent lover who beat the little boy to death, a court heard.

Stephanie Whelan, 27, knew that 34-year-old Elvis Lee had a history of violence and was attending anger management courses, The Sun reported.

She was out for 40 minutes to take her daughter to school just when Tylor suffered fatal injuries to his head and stomach.

Lee confessed to kicking Tylor in the stomach and badly biting his leg.

The jury was told that he hurt Tyler because he had interrupted his sleep or because he was jealous of the attention the boy received.

Lee admits manslaughter but denies murder while mother Whelan has denied causing or allowing her child’s death. The couple, of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, also both deny three charges of child cruelty.

The case continues at Cambridge Crown Court.
