Vexed with the alleged harassment and assault by the financer the borrower attacked the financer. Mukarram who had borrowed loan from financer Arshad attacked the former with a knife leaving him injured. The incident occurred at Maqta Madar Saheb, Panjagutta.
Mukarram who works in a chicken centre had borrowed Rs. 3000 from Arshad on interest and had given his vehicle papers as surety. According to police sources Arshad was pressurizing Mukarram to repay the money immediately. Arshad along with his supporter also beat Mukarram on Necklace Road on Monday. Enraged over this Mukarram attacked Arshad when the later came to Mukarram’s shop yesterday to ask for money. Locals intervened and caught Mukarram and informed the police.
