On Thursday, man, in an inebriated state, attacked his wife and two children with an axe in Mangalagiri town.
According to the Mangalagiri town police, the accused, Navuri Kaspar, be at odds with his wife, Annamma, on Wednesday night, for not serving egg for dinner.
He therefore attacked his wife, son Sunil and daughter Neelima, with an axe when the children were sound asleep. The children, who were immediately taken to the hospital by neighbours, are out of danger.
