Muzaffarnagar: In an incident, a man allegedly killed his 18-year-old daughter and buried her dead body in the backyard. This heinous crime was allegedly committed on 4th May.
According to the report published in TOI, this incident took place in Tewda Village which falls under the jurisdiction of Kakrauli Police Station, Muzaffarnagar.
As per the details of the case, a man by name, Maqsood Ahmed had found his daughter along with her boyfriend. After this incident, Ahmed allegedly killed his daughter by strangling. Later, he buried her dead body in his backyard.
Recently, after getting the information, police reached Maqsood’s house and dug up victim’s dead body.
Talking on the case, Mr. Ajay Sahdev, Superintendent of Police (Rural) said that police arrested Maqsood and investigation is going on.
It is also reported that during the investigation, Maqsood made a confession that he had killed his daughter. The accused also said that he had committed this crime to protect his honour.
According to the information provided by Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Station House Officer of Kakrauli Police, a case under murder charges has been registered against Maqsood.
