Man accused of 3 murders arrested

New Delhi: A man who had murdered three people after entering into scuffles with them due to his “aggressive demeanour” has been arrested, police said on Monday.

Wanted in three separate murder cases in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, Nadeem, 32, frequently got into scuffles because of his aggressive demeanour and turned into a desperate murderer after which a reward of Rs 50,000 was declared on him, a police officer said.

He was arrested from the Seelampur area of east Delhi.

“One pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northeast, Atul Kumar Thakur.
