Sangareddy, February 26: Medak district was blessed once again by Union Railway Mamata Banerjee with announcing proposal for survey between Patancheru-Adilabad and Secunderabad– Karimnagar via Siddipet.
This would benefit the district to link the industrial areas like Kallakal and Patancheru to link with national transport network. Similarly, towns like Gajwel, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Jogipet and Medak would also be linked with the railway lines.
However, this was not for the first time these lines were proposed for survey. In the earlier budget also the same proposals were made by the Minister and pubic representative from the district thanked her. But amount was not released for commencing the process by the railways.
