Mallu Ravi urges Sonia to address public meeting

Alleging that the Congress party leaders were joining TRS party with selfish motives, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi has said that the Congress party will not be weakened with the desertions of the leaders.

Speaking to the media after the meeting with the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi here on Wednesday, Ravi invited Sonia Gandhi to participate in a public meeting saying that the people were waiting for her, who conceded separate Telangana State. He alleged that the ruling party in Telangana State was making other party leaders to join TRS party giving corrupt money.

The TRS government was fulfilled only one assurance giving pension and not fulfilled Dalith CM, three acre land to daliths, double bed room houses, KG to PG free education, 12 percent reservations to tribal etc, he alleged. The ruling TRS party was indulging in corrupt practices and purchasing the other party MLAs, he asserted. He said that Sonia Gandhi enquired about the party defections and party affairs in the State.
