Mumbai, June 18: Beijing olympics bronze medalist boxer Vijender Singh shared his golden memories, which he spent with Bollywood damsel Mallika Sherawat on sets of Sony TV’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’, where he crooned for the actress.
On the sets of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan, Viju dedicated a Haryanvi song ‘Gadhiwali Gajbhan Chhori, Rohtak Kahe Bomb, Bijli Si Tut Padi, Mare Gaye Hum’ to ugly and Pugly girl Mallika Sherawat.
On this, an elated boxer said, “She is from my state Haryana, so I sang a local folk song for her when Salman asked me and she couldn’t stop laughing at that. It was fun to interact with her.”
The two shot for the show in May 2009.
During the shoot, Vijender got impressed over Sallu’s knowledge on boxing.
Due to some differences between them, Sallu and Mallika did not like to interact with one another.
However, the duo came together for the show as the channel has signed the actress for a big amount to appear on the show.
Vijender had also shaked legs with Bipasha in another reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ during the last year.
Recently, Viju returned home after winning another bronze medal at the Asian Championship in China last week. Now, the player would head back to Patiala in a few days to restart training for the upcoming World Championships in Milan, Italy in September 2009.
