Finally a ‘defiant’ Telangana Telugu Desam MP from Malkajgiri, Nalla Malla Reddy switched loyalty to the TRS. He took a leap to Car by puncturing the already ‘dismantled’ cycle here on Wednesday.
Reddy joined the ruling TRS in the presence of its Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at camp office. KCR invited Malla Reddy with a traditional “pink” shawl into the party, even as other top leaders of the party congratulated him include Etala Rajender, Mahender Reddy and others.
It is believed that the chief minister offered all help to Malla Reddy to develop his segment. Later Reddy announced that the flagship programs like double bedroom houses to the poor, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and welfare schemes attracted him very much to get into the TRS. I will work under the leadership of the chief minister to make the state a golden Telangana he vowed.
Malla Reddy who owns a few engineering colleges and a medical college in the twin cities and Ranga Reddy district had to take a decision, of late, to protect his ‘business’ interests had to quit the turmeric party to join the pink one. Noted as the staunch follower of TDP’s boss and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had to quit the party with no other option and go with the TRS for transforming Telangana into a golden state and to develop his own constituency.
It is known to all that Malla Reddy said several times that he will not quit his parent party which gave him political life. Notwithstanding, as he could not come out of the TDP trance Malla Reddy stated that two Telugu chief ministers – KCR and Chandrababu have great vision for the states development and is indebted to Chandrababu for the political career.
