TDP MP from Malkajgiri Malla Reddy has said he praised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao only because he visited his constituency.
It may be recalled that Malla Reddy, participating in a government function at Malkajgiri where the Chief Minister handed over house site pattas to the poor, showered praises on the Chief Minister forgetting that he belongs to TDP.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Malla Reddy clarified that he did not praise the Chief Minister with any personal agenda. He also made it clear that he would not shift his loyalty to any other political party. “There is no iota of truth in news reports that I would desert the TDP to join the ruling TRS:, he added. But Malla Reddy’s praise for the Chief Minister at the time of Revanth Reddy’s arrest has become talk of the city. Both TRS and TDP leaders were trading charges with regard to the ‘note for vote’ scam. (NSS)
