The Supreme Court will on Wednesday pronounce an order on whether the slapping of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) charges on Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and three others accused in 2008 Malegaon blast case is correct or not.
The apex court will also decide on their bail applications.
The other accused in the case are – Rajendra Choudhary, Lokesh Sharma, Jitendra Sharma.
In case the court quashes MCOCA charges on Sadhvi Pragya and others, they have more chance to get bail.
The Sadhvi is accused of hatching the conspiracy with others, which led to the September 29, 2008, blast at Malegaon in Nashik district in which six people died, after which she was arrested on October 23, 2008.
Sadhvi is also an accused in the murder of RSS activist Sunil Joshi.
