Malaysia: Student strips naked, watches explicit content, attacks stewardess in flight

Kuala Lumpur: In a strange incident, a Bangladeshi student of Malaysian University reportedly stripped naked and attacked a stewardess in a Malaysian flight, the Malindo airline said on Monday. The incident had occurred on Saturday soon after the flight had departed from Kuala Lumpur.

According to the local media, the 20-year-old man took off his clothes and started watching pornography on his laptop. As the cabin crew requested him to wear his clothes, he put them on. However, he started trying to hug the female crew member afterwards. When he was resisted, he became aggressive and attacked one of the stewardesses.

The passenger was then tied up by the crew members and other passengers, with the help of a cloth, for the rest of the travelling hours. He was arrested on arrival.

The airline denied confirming any details of the incident and stated that a “disruptive passenger” was tied up on the flight to Dhaka.
