Malakpet houses an old graveyard and a dargah whose desecration is continued for years. Hazrat Mahboob Bibi Saheba graveyard which is located at Malakpet main road near Masjid Idara-e-Milia, has a garbage bin at its entrance, which is always overflowing with garbage. The iron gate at the entrance has an iron arch with ‘Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem’ painted on it. Despite repeated representations the authorities have turned blind eye towards the garbage bin.
An elderly man said we are appealed to vote by creating fear of BJP and in return they give unending basic problems. Even desecration of graveyards is not considered reprehensive.
