Hyderabad: Chairman of Telangana State Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Saleem will visit historic Makkah Masjid on Thursday 24th August. He will review the status of repair works with the representatives of various departments including Archeological Survey of India.
It may be mentioned that Telangana Wakf Board had already released Re. 1 crore. Another installment of Re. 1 crore will be released soon. It is proposed to start repair works to Makkah Masjid immediately after Eid-ul-Azha. The contractor has been given 18 months time for completion of the work.
Mr. Saleem further told that if need be more amounts would be sanctioned. He reviewed the cases of Dargah Yousufain and Dargah Meer Mahmood in which the other parties did not get any relief from Wakf Tribunal.
Wakf Board has constituted committees consisting of Ulema and officials for making arrangements for Urs of Dargah Yousufain.
