Hyderabad, August 25: General Secretary of Congress Mr. Abid Rasool Khan met Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chief Minister of A.P. and represented about payment of Rs. 3 lakh compensation to innocent Muslim youths as recommended by the National Minorities Commission.
The CM informed him that the file is under consideration with Law Dept and a decision will be taken on it very soon for implementing these recommendations. Mr. Abid Rasool Khan said that the bomb blasts in Makkah Masjid should be condemned but justice should be imparted to the innocent muslim youths who were arrested and harassed by the police. Mr. Khan also suggested the CM to visit orphanage “Aneesul Ghuraba” at Nampally for which the CM readily agreed.
