Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the officials to take up Yadadri development works on Dasara festival day on October 22. The works should reflect a human made wonder and miracle by blending expertise, acumen and exemplary quality, he exhorted.
At a review meeting at his camp office, the Chief Minister approved the layouts and designs for the development prepared by experts and officials. He asked them to bring a shape to the temple as per the new plan. As per the schedule, the works of development like main temple, Siva temple, other structures on the abode of hill shrine and others should begin from October 22, he directed.
YTDA Vice President Kishan Rao will monitor the works besides taking up infrastructure and other facilities on adjoining hills. He also asked them to begin works on the hill for 1.9 acre bus stand, mada streets in 2.3 acres space around main temple, 108 ft Anjaneya swamy statue on eastern side facing South, a complex for mass feeding, space for Brahmostavam and rest room for Archakas. Srichakra will be made into a queue complex, a shopping complex, new buildings to be built by removing old ones and expand water pond to some extent.
Along with two adjoining hillocks, 1000 acre temple city will be developed with better road connectivity, gardens, cottages, choultries, parking place, kalyana mandapam will come up as per the plan. Also a VIP Guest House Complex on the lines of Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati will come up at another hillock spreading over 30 acres. (NSS)
