Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that it is proud that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making a maiden visit to Gajwel in Medak district in Telangana on Aug 7 to launch the Mission Bhagiratha program. He inspected the arrangements at Gajwel and Jagadevpur for the prime minister’s visit along with Minister Mahender Reddy and others. At a TRS activists meeting he appealed to the rank and file to turn up large numbers and welcome the prime minister for the mega program. Later, he told reporters that Modi will reach Hyderabad by a special flight on Aug 7 at1 pm and will make it to Gajwel for the program as per schedule.
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the prestigious program and we are planning to shift 25000 people from Siddipet constituency to Modi’s public meeting, Harish stated. Our aim is to see that the prime minister visit will be a grand success by launching the piped water program which will become ideal to other states. The Prime Minister will lay a foundation for Siddipet railway line and participate in other developmental programs he added. (NSS)
