Make Minorities Dept. of Congress active

Vice Chairman of Minorities Dept. of Congress of AP Mr. Hadi Ali wrote a letter to Central Minorities Affairs Minister, Mr. K. Rehman Khan that there is a need to implement the pending applications of the Minorities Cell of AP Congress which include the restoration of Wakf lands belonging to Dargah Hazrath Husain Shah Wali, Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin, Maula Ali, Imam Zamin etc.

Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin, Chairman of Minorities Cell of A.P. Congress had invited the attention of former CM of A.P. Dr. Y.S. Rajsekhara Reddy which are still pending. The new 15 point program of PM is not being implemented properly in AP. Computerization of Wakf properties is being done very slowly. Many court cases are pending for the restoration of Wakf properties.

There is a need to publish the report of Wakf Survey Commissioner in AP Gazette. Attempts should be made to release more financial assistance to the Muslims through A.P. State Minorities Finance Corporation. Minorities leaders of Congress Party should be given tickets in Assembly and Parliamentary elections. Awareness program for Wakf Act. of 2013 should be conducted. It is necessary to organize meetings of Minorities in Gandhi Bhavan to bring the Muslims and other Minority communities closer to the Congress Party. The Minister of Minorities Affairs of Govt. of India should take out some time for such meetings in order to strengthen Congress party. These letters have also been sent to APCC president, Mr. B. Satyanarayana and Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Sayeed, National President of Minorities Dept. of AICC.
