Make Fish Prasadam a success: CS tells officials

Telangana Government wants to make the famous Fish Prasadam program a grand success in the state to be conducted for two days at Exhibition Grounds.

This was stated by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma today at a high level review meeting with the officials concerned here at Secretariat here. He asked them to make all out and fool proof arrangements for the Fish Medicine distribution program to be held on June 8 and 9. Since people form across the country come for the fish prasadam all necessary facilities should be provided besides escort to Bathini Harinath Goud and family from their ancestral home in old city to the venue, he said. He asked them to focus on providing milk, temporary shelters, NGO stalls, 24 hour high security, uninterrupted power supply, CCTV surveillance, drinking water, medicare, toilets and temporary shelter and others. He also stressed on the need for regular clean drive of removing garbage and trash at the premises. The facilities should be made in such a way that the dependants of the patients feel comfort he said. Special buses to the venue from important bust stations and railway stations and other areas should be operated he said adding that adequate security, medical units, ambulances, and fire services should be kept ready at the exhibition grounds to meet any eventuality.
