IT major Infosys extends its partnership with Udacity

Bengaluru: The major IT company Infosys has recently announced its project “Infosys-Udacity FastTrack Programme” extension for the second year with the online education company Udacity.

Navin Bidhiraja, Chief Technology officer, Infosys in his statement said, “Through our partnership with Udacity, we are now able to complement this learning and build a strong foundation with specialised skills training and I look forward to scaling this partnership further”.

The IT major company along with Udacity took up a joint project called the “Infosys-Udacity FastTrack Programme” that provides students with a nano degree course online before placing them under Infosys training program in Mysore.

The new program is built that sketches the need of development of skills that are in demand and prepares the learners according to the challenges of current market scenario through projects.

Talking about the course, CEO of Udacity Vish Makhijani said “There is great demand within the IT industry in India to upskill workers and lead the world in software development and we are excited to take our partnership with Infosys into our second year to further train their talent pool”, reported sources.
