Amritsar: Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, the two-time Majitha MLA, today declared his movable and immovable assets worth Rs 11,89,66,30 as he filed his nomination papers for state Assembly polls on February 4.
He also declared his wife’s movable and immovable property having a total gross value Rs 2,40,02,832, according to the affidavit.
Majithia has cash in hand worth merely Rs 15,000 and his wife Ganieve Kaur Rs 12,500.
Declaring his bank fixed deposit receipts, he has Rs 21,46,393, while his wife has Rs 24,66,007, the affidavit said.
Informing about his investments in bonds, debentures, Majithia declared Rs 11,11,42,977 and his wife’s Rs 1,40,22,265.
In insurance policy and postal saving, he declared nothing on his name, whereas his spouse has Rs 14,72,100.
He had given personal loans worth Rs 23,62,000 to others and his spouse has lend Rs 7,50,000.
As per details of motor vehicles, Majithia has spent Rs 6,50,000 and his spouse Rs 11,00,000.
On jewellery and others valuables, he disclosed that he possesses Rs 26,50,000 and wife Rs 30,15,000.
Majithia is brother of Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who is the woife of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.
