Arif Majeed, a suspected member of terror outfit ISIS moved an application before a special court alleging that National Investigation Agency (NIA) has given false information to the court about his solitary confinement.
He stated in the application that he should be kept along with other prisoners but not in solitary imprison.
The 23 years old Kalyan youth also alleges that he was denied the basic things like clothes, water bucket besides other things in jail.
Judge Y D Shinde has now asked jail authorities to file a report regarding these allegations and produce CCTV footage to bring the truth to the fore.
Except for moustache trimmer, the court permit him books for further studies, including textbook of Railway Engineering, Forge your Future by APJ Abdul Kalam and The Truth by M K Gandhi.
The court extended his judicial custody till February 28. Majeed has been booked under sections 16, 18, 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and 125 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
