TDP floor leader in GHMC Singareddy Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday requested GHMC Commissioner MT Krishna Babu to directed all Zonal Commissioners to cut the jungle plants and trees in and around the Hindu graveyards for Deepavali festivals.
In a representation, signed by all TDP Corporator and submitted to the Commissioner, Singreddy said that people perform pooja for the departed souls during Deepavali. Therefore, the GHMC staff should be directed to maintain sanitation, streetlights and facilities during the festival season. (INN)
