Mahmood Ali pays tribute to Mir Osman Ali Khan

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana State Mohammed Mahmood Ali visited the shrine of Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan located at Masjid Judi on the occasion of 50th death anniversary of 7th Asif Jahi ruler. He also paid floral tribute to the Nawab.

TRS leaders, masjid supervisor, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Qayyum, Fazal Jah Bahadur, Shahamat Jah Bahadur, Sajjad Jah Bahadur, Milad Jah Bahadur, Naushad Jah Bahadur, ex-state minister Krishna Yadav, Inayat Ali, Syed Abbas, Aliuddin, Qasim Raza, Sameer Yamni and others were present on the occasion.

Later talking to media Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali declared Asif Jah VII as the great and secular ruler and said during Asif Jahi period Hindus and Muslims were like two eyes of the Nizam. He further said that Asif Jah VII was among the wealthiest rulers of the world. Asif Jahi sultanate was counted among the most developed and wealthiest states due to its best revenue and irrigation projects.

On the occasion Mr. Mahmood Ali announced to include the achievements of Asif Jahi era in syllabus books of the state to make the new generation aware of achievements of Asif Jahi sultanate.
