Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali participated in Swacch Telangana and Swatch Hyderabad at Osmanpura, Kattelguda, Kamala Nagar, Moosa Nagar on Monday along with officials of GHMC, Revenue, Electricity, HMWS&SB and local leaders.
They visited every house and explained about the cleanliness in the localities to achieve Swacch Telangana and Swacch Hyderabad. The Deputy Chief Minister also instructed the GHMC authorities to continue the sanitation program in the localities and keep the roads, streets, drainages and other places for maintaining hygiene and good health of public.
During the visit, the people pleaded with the Dy Chief Minister to provide drinking water by drilling bore-wells and build houses for the homeless poor. The Deputy Chief Minister assured the people that bore wells will be sunk to end the shortage of drinking water. He also appealed to the people to keep their premises clean and tidy as part of Swacch Hyderabad and Swacch Telangana. (NSS)
