Hyderabad: Department of Languages and Culture of Telangana government is going to organise a 30-day, Salam-e-Telangana Urdu programmes, which aim at promoting Urdu and encouraging Urdu artists.
The 30-day Salam Telangana Urdu programme was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali at Ravindra Bharati. Addressing the inaugural function Chief Minister said that chief minister KCR is Urdu-friendly and always come forward for the promotion of Urdu. He informed that government has allotted a good budget for Urdu.
Ghazal, qawwali, Sufi sangat, mizahia mushaira, comedy show and other programmes will be held during the 3-day jashn.
