(Siasat News) Chairman of Palestine Authority, Mr. Mahmood Abbas on his official visit to India inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Palestine Embassy in New Delhi. Present on this occasion were Mr. S.M. Krishna, Minister of External Affairs, Govt. of India, Mr. E. Ahmed, Minister of State for External Affairs, Govt. of India and other diplomats.
Mr. Adli Shaban Hasan Sadiq, Ambassador of Palestine in India had especially invited Mr. Syed Vicaruddin, President Indo Arab League and Editor Rahnuma-e-Deccan Urdu Daily to New Delhi to be present on this occasion. Mr. Vicaruddin visited New Delhi along with Mr. Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Vice President of Indo-Arab League.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr. Sadiq told that the people of Palestine will never bow down their heads before any powers for the restoration of their homeland Palestine. He made a reference to Gandhiji who had told that Palestine belongs to Palestinians. The ambassador of Palestine told that India has always supported the cause of Palestine.
Mr. Vicaruddin met Mr. Mahmood Abbas separately after the inaugural function of the Embassy building. He discussed with him various issues related to latest political development in Palestine.
Mr. Mahmood Abbas thanked Mr. Vicaruddin for raising the voice from Hyderabad to support the cause of Palestine
Mr. Vicaruddin extended the invitation to Mr. Mahmood Abbas to visit Hyderabad. He accepted the invitation and told that in his next visit of India, he will include Hyderabad in his tour programme.
