Mahindra tractor sales up 42% at 21,717 units in November

New Delhi: Home-grown auto major Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday reported 42% increase in its tractor sales at 21,717 units in November as against 15,333 units in the same month last year.

Domestic tractor sales last month increased by 47% at 20,819 units as compared to 14,207 units in the year-ago month, the company said in a statement.

Exports during the month were at 898 units as against 1,126 units in the same month last year, a decline of 20%, it added.

The rise in sales is due to improved sentiments owing to festive season, M&M President & Chief Executive-Farm Equipment and Two Wheeler division, Rajesh Jejurikar said.

“We hope for the rural economy to steadily revive going forward”, he added.
