Mahinder Reddy MLA Tandoor assures to solve Minorities problems

Construction of boundary wall for Eidgah in Tandoor started yesterday. Dr. P. Mahinder Reddy MLA of Tandoor attended the function as the Chief Guest. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Reddy assured that he would extend his cooperation in resolving issues pertaining to Minorities. Mr. Khurshed Husain of Muslim Welfare Association Tandoor, Mr. Nayeem Afroz, President of Congress Committee Tandoor, Mr. Ravi Goud, former corporator, Mr. Abdul Raoof, former Vice Chairman of Municipality and others address the gathering. Mr. Hajji Yousuf Khan, President of Eidgah and Muslim Graveyard committee presented the report. He told that a decision has been taken to construct boundary walls for all the Muslim Graveyards of Tandoor for which various committees have been formed. Govt. has sanctioned Rs. 20 lakh for the construction of New Eidgah. Wakf Board has granted Rs. 5 lakh for the construction of Boundary wall of Ganj-e-Shaheedan graveyard. Rs. 4.6 lakh have also been granted for the repairs of Mosques. Mr. Karnam Purushotham, Advocate, in his speech told that on the representation of Dr. Mahindra Reddy MLA, Muslim Community halls have been constructed in Basheerabad, Kotpalli and Paryalal. Mr. Abdur Raoof, former floor leader of Municipality demanded the MLA to sanction Rs. 10 lakh more for this purpose. Maulana Suleman Qasimi conducted the meeting.
