Madhya Pradesh, August 24: The Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress (MPMC) has charged the state government with neglecting women who had been unable to get benefit of the schemes launched for them.
In a statement, State Mahila Congress General Secretary Deepti Singh alleged that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh was playing with the sentiments of women.
Deepti said the health infrastructure in the state was very poor and this was adding to the problems of the women.She said that while the MP Government was claiming that the “Janani Suraksha” scheme was successful, there were many cases of women delivering babies in open.
