Mumbai, July 26: ”Making films is no less than a suicide”. This is what veteran filmmaker has to say to define his profession. Bhatt, who is known for giving Bollywood some of its scintillating moments, is one of the rare filmmakers who can take the box-office fact in their stride.
His last offering JASHNN, which featured Adhyayan Suman and Anjana Sukhani in the lead, turned to be a box-office dud. Though the music of the film created magic on the charts, but Bhatt seems to be disappointed with the end result.
JASHNN-THE MUSIC WITHIN Movie Review
Says Bhatt, ”I want to be forthcoming about the fact that JASHNN was a disaster. It’s no point to claim otherwise when the audience’s verdict is in front of you. Such things are part of this game. I believe filmmaking is a suicidal process because you cannot predict the fate of your product.”
Though JASHNN might not have lived up to his expectations, Bhatt is already planning his next move. He adds, ”We might have gone wrong with the gamble this time but its part of the process, it’s no point looking too much into it now.” he ends.
